Platinum Funding Services ("Platinum," "we," "us," or "our") helps business owners find working capital by presenting their funding request to a network of third-party lenders, funders, and financial institutions ("Lending Partners"). We do not make credit decisions and we do not issue loans. This Privacy Policy applies to platinumfundingservices.com and to the information you provide through our online application, chat, email, phone, and text messages (together, the "Services").
By using the Services, you agree to the collection, use, and sharing of information described here. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.
2. Information We Collect
Information you give us
When you check your funding options or apply, we collect:
- Your name, email address, and mobile phone number
- Your business name, website, and industry
- Business details such as average monthly revenue, time in business, and the amount of funding you are seeking
- Your estimated personal credit score, as you report it
- How you plan to use the funds, and any comments you add
- The name of the representative who referred you, if any
- Your consent to be contacted by phone, email, and text message
If you decide to move forward with an offer, we or a Lending Partner may ask for supporting documents such as business bank statements, your EIN or formation documents, a government-issued ID, and proof of revenue. Those documents are collected only after you choose to proceed.
Information we collect automatically
- Device and browser type, operating system, and IP address
- Pages you visit, links you click, and how you interact with the application form
- How you arrived at our site: referring website, search engine, and campaign parameters such as UTM codes and advertising click identifiers, which we store in your browser so we can attribute your application to the right source
- Cookies and similar technologies described in Section 8
Information from other sources
Lending Partners may send us updates about the status of an application we referred to them. Our fulfillment and funding partners may share information needed to service your request. We do not pull your credit report to show you options; see Section 5.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Review your funding request and pre-qualify you for programs that fit your business profile
- Match your request with one or more Lending Partners and present their offers to you
- Contact you about your application, your options, missing documents, and next steps
- Notify the funding specialist and partners assigned to your file when a new application arrives
- Send you service updates, and, with your consent, information about funding programs that may interest you
- Measure how people find and use the site so we can improve it
- Prevent fraud, verify identity, and comply with legal and regulatory obligations
4. How We Share Your Information
Because we are a broker, sharing your application with Lending Partners is the core of the service you are requesting. Here is who receives your information and why:
Lending Partners and funding partners
We share your application, contact details, business information, and supporting documents with the Lending Partners and funding partners we believe can serve your request, so they can evaluate it and, if approved, fund it. Each partner handles your information under its own privacy policy and may request additional information directly from you.
Service providers
We use third-party providers to host the website, store customer records (our customer relationship management system), send email and text messages, run the chat widget, and analyze site traffic. They may process your information only to provide those services to us.
Legal and safety
We may disclose information to comply with a law, regulation, subpoena, or court order, to enforce our Terms of Service, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Platinum, our partners, or others.
Business transfers
If Platinum is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you of any change in ownership or in how your information is used.
Mobile information
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing with subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
We do not sell your personal information.
5. Credit Information
Checking your options with us does not involve a hard credit inquiry. We rely on the credit score you estimate and on your business performance to identify programs. A hard credit pull may be required only if you decide to move forward with a specific offer, and only with your authorization, by the Lending Partner making that offer. Lending Partners are responsible for their own use of consumer reports under applicable law.
6. Text Messaging and Phone Consent
By providing your mobile phone number and checking the consent box on our application, you agree to receive calls and recurring automated text messages from Platinum Funding Services about your funding options, application status, document requests, and related service updates at the number you provided. Consent is not a condition of receiving funding or any other service.
- Message frequency: varies based on your application and your interactions with us.
- Message and data rates: may apply depending on your mobile carrier plan.
- Opt out: reply STOP to any message at any time. You will receive one confirmation message and no further texts unless you opt in again. You can also ask us to stop calling at any time.
- Help: reply HELP to any message, or contact us at support@platinumfundingservices.com.
- Carriers: major carriers are supported. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
7. How Long We Keep Information
We keep application records for as long as needed to service your request, maintain our relationship with you, meet our legal and contractual obligations, and resolve disputes. Supporting documents that a Lending Partner no longer needs are deleted or returned according to that partner's policy. You can ask us to delete your information as described in Section 9.
8. Cookies and Analytics
Our site uses cookies and browser storage to remember how you found us, keep the application working across steps, and measure site performance. We may use analytics and advertising tools such as Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics to understand traffic and campaign results. You can control cookies through your browser settings. Blocking cookies may affect how the application form works.
Most browsers offer a Do Not Track setting. No uniform standard exists for honoring these signals, so we do not currently respond to them.
9. Your Choices and Rights
- You can stop text messages by replying STOP and stop calls or emails by telling us or using the unsubscribe link in any marketing email.
- You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, subject to records we must keep by law or to complete a funding request in progress.
- Residents of states with consumer privacy laws, including California, may have additional rights to access, delete, and limit the use of their personal information, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising them. Information collected in connection with a financial product may be covered by federal financial privacy law instead of state law.

10. Security
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information, including encrypted connections to our website and access controls on our customer records. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If you believe your information has been compromised, contact us right away.
11. Children and Business Use
Our Services are intended for business owners who are at least 18 years old and are applying for commercial purposes. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
12. Third-Party Links
Our site may link to Lending Partner websites and other third-party sites. Their privacy practices are their own. Please review their policies before providing information.
13. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The effective date at the top shows when it was last revised. Material changes will be posted on this page, and continued use of the Services after a change means you accept the updated policy.
